In a few days the country will witness the inauguration of a new president. Protecting the safety of our communities is paramount. Our best defense is offense: to come together as a community and fight back. We must organize and build local infrastructure to push back the onslaught of our communities.
We are the ones we have been waiting for. It is up to us to protect and defend our communities.
With an opponent to racial justice in the White House, work at the state and local level becomes that more important in this moment. On the call you will learn about available resources and ways to get involved from our local leaders across the country. If you are young Black or Brown person aged 18-35, this call is for you.
The Movement for Black Lives includes various organizations and networks focused on a hopeful vision of justice, safety, and prosperity. Be encouraged — our movement is growing stronger.
